Shift: Nights with some day coverage as needed; rotating days/nights
Hours: 36/week
Weekends: Scheduled 3 out of 4 weekends
Call: Required
Unit: LDRP with 6 birthing suites and 4 postpartum/surgical rooms
EHR: Epic
Requirements: MN RN license, BLS, NRP, 1+ year LDRP experience, and 1 year Med Surg experience
Preferred: Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or completed fetal heart monitoring course
Patient Population: Labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care; low-risk births primarily
Ratios: 1 nurse per labor patient; up to 2 couplets, occasionally 3
C-Sections: Does not circulate; assists with baby only
Volume: Approximately 25–33 births per month
