Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Minnesota, requiring a current MN RN license and NRP certification.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes maternal, newborn, neonatal, adolescent, and adult patients
• Evening shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (15:00–03:00)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MN RN license in good standing required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and Basic Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• Workplace Violence education required
• 2–5 years of L&D experience preferred
• STABLE certification preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementing nursing interventions, evaluating outcomes, and providing patient and family education
• Administers medications, IV fluids, and blood products, and performs technical skills including IV venipuncture, restraint application, and sterile dressings
• All time off and scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
