Position: Emergency Department RN
Schedule: 12-hour nights, 48 hours per week; weekends and holidays required
Experience: 2 years ER experience
Required: NY RN license, ACLS, BLS, PALS and NIHSS (AHA or APEX)
EMR: MEDITECH
Unit: 30-bed Level III trauma ED; must be able to handle ratios as high as 1:9
Duties: Triage and treat adult and pediatric emergency patients, manage high-acuity assignments and recognize and treat basic dysrhythmias
Note: No floating and no call; dark blue or white scrubs; unit orientation provided; travelers sit medication and basic dysrhythmia competency exams and must pass at 80%
