Description

Role: IR/Neuro IR Technologist – 10-hour day shifts

Required Experience: 2+ years IR; able to work independently in IR procedure rooms and take trauma call independently

Weekend/Call: Required (weekend, day shift coverage, and on-call coverage required)

Must-Have Skills: Scrub & circulator experience; thrombectomy device expertise (PE/Stroke); angio procedures (e.g., TIPS, angioplasty); GE/Siemens knowledge (preferred/strongly desired); neuro experience highly preferred

Required Education/Licensure: Voc/Tech training in Radiologic Technology; MA Radiology license; ARRT (RT)Facility/Unit: CVPH Champlain Valley Physician Hospital (Plattsburgh, NY) | Level 3 Trauma | Non-teaching

ED Layout: 29-bed ED + 7-bed Fast Track + 4-bed Behavioral Health/BDU (areas can swing to ER beds)

Experience: 1+ year ED (1+ year in specialty) | Prior travel not required

Required Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC

Documentation/Medication: Epic (required) | Pyxis

Ratios/Volume: Typically 1:5, sometimes higher—must be comfortable in a very busy community ED

Support Staff: PCT/CNA coverage 24/7, unit secretary, crisis clinician coverage days/evenings; APP coverage typically 8a–11p

Shifts/Scheduling: 12s (7a–7p, 7p–7a) and other posted shifts (e.g., 11a–11p, 3p–3a); rotating, no blocked scheduling | Weekends & holidays required | No call

United Staffing Solutions Job ID #162800. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
