Step-Down RN

Hours: 36/week
Weekends/Holidays: Every other
Schedule: No blocked scheduling
Ratios: 1:4–1:5
Requirements: 2+ years recent Step-Down experience, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Skills: Cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, 12-lead EKG, IV starts, PICC lines, blood products, cardiac drips, stroke care, BiPAP/CPAP
Procedures: Post-cath care, TR bands, vascular monitoring, frequent VS/neurovascular checks
Medication System: Pyxis
