Description

Beds: 37

Staffing: 8 RNs + 3 PCTs (days/nights), 1 Unit Clerk (days)

Ratios: 1:6; 1:4 for heart cath recovery patients (not guaranteed)

Equipment: PCA pumps, IV pumps, chest tubes

EMR: Meditech

Requirements:

Active RN license

BLS and ACLS required

Prior acute care or cardiac experience strongly preferred

Typical Patient Care/Procedures:

Central line care

Medication drips

Heart cath recovery and monitoring

Bubble studies
