Description

Unit: L&D / High-Risk OB | Beds: 26 | Staff: 112 | EMR: CPN Gold, Meditech

Staffing:

Days: 1 CNC (TL), 14 nurses, 2–3 ST, 2 unit clerks

Nights: 1 CNC (TL), 12 nurses, 2 ST, 1 unit clerk

Ratios:

1:1 high-risk labor & C-sections

1:2 antepartum / PPROM / PTL on mag / PP on mag

1:3 PP mag (no baby), outpatients

Equipment: Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, GE CPN monitors

Must Have: 2+ years L&D experience; circulate C-sections

Preferred: 2+ years L&D (beyond minimum); high-risk LDR experience

Common Procedures: C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, Doppler
