Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience and expertise using HCHB EMR for a day-shift, territory-based role.

Details

  • Home health setting covering the Tulsa territory up to a 60-mile radius
  • Day shift schedule (5x8s), 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Caseload of 5-7 geriatric patients per day
  • Patient visits are based on territory assignment; each therapist is responsible for their own area
  • OASIS documentation required
  • HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR experience required
  • Use of iPad provided for documentation
  • No on-call required, but on-call rotation may be discussed during the interview
  • Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate

Requirements

  • Active OT license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of recent home health Occupational Therapist experience
  • OASIS experience required for Start of Care
  • Proficiency with HCHB EMR required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Valid driver's license and personal transportation needed
  • No first-time travelers will be considered

Additional Information

  • Timely communication and documentation are mandatory
  • Orientation is held on Tuesdays and includes required modules
  • Work primarily with geriatric patients in their homes
  • Mandatory Hospice/Home Health Checklist for consideration
  • Travel pairs may be accepted, but each will have separate territories and must provide their own transportation
  • Dress code requires scrubs in any color; jeans are not permitted
  • Former permanent employees must be separated for at least 6 months and obtain HR approval before returning as a traveler
  • All requested time off must be submitted during application
