Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (Outpatient) with 2+ years of experience in orthopedic outpatient, personal injury, and workers' comp for a 13-week evening shift assignment.

Details

  • Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting
  • Shift: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM (5x8)
  • No weekend shifts required
  • Caseload of approximately 12–14 patients per day, averaging around 60 patients per week
  • Double-booking is standard practice at most locations
  • EMR: RainTree

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist required
  • Experience in orthopedic outpatient, personal injury, and workers' compensation settings required
  • New graduates will not be considered
  • Current PT license required if applicable
  • RainTree EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Full support staff at every location, including front office staff and PT Aides/Techs, to assist with patient flow
  • Orientation is led by the Clinic Director and typically begins a few days before the assignment start date
  • First day includes staff introductions, EMR orientation to RainTree, shadowing treatments, and treating a small number of patients
  • Day two of orientation transitions to full independent clinical practice
  • All time off and scheduling requests should be noted at the time of initial consideration
  • Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
  • A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
