Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist with a background in orthopedics, personal injury, and workers' comp for a 13-week travel assignment in Washington, D.C.

Details

  • Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting in Washington, D.C.
  • Mixed weekly schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Wednesdays through Fridays 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • No weekend shifts required
  • Average caseload of 12–14 patients per day, approximately 60 patients per week
  • Double-booking is standard practice at this location
  • EMR system used is RainTree
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience required
  • Experience in orthopedics, personal injury, and workers' compensation required
  • New graduates will not be considered
  • Active PT license required if applicable
  • 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
  • Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Full support staff at every location, including front office staff and PT Aides/Techs, to assist with patient flow
  • A First Day Introduction (FDI) is provided by the Clinic Director a few days prior to the assignment start date
  • Day 1 orientation includes staff introductions, EMR (RainTree) overview, shadowing treatments, and seeing a few patients; Day 2 is expected to be fully independent
  • Travel and local candidates are both welcome to apply
  • All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
