Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Florida, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and active FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit in a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 hours per week
• 12-week contract
• Weekend requirement: 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
• No on-call requirements
• Mandatory float within Women's services; optional float to other units as a sitter or resource nurse

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: NRP, ACLS, and BLS
• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
• Must pass a proctored Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) course administered by the unit prior to starting — candidates who do not pass cannot retest for 6 months
• Two doses of COVID-19 vaccine required or an approved declination on file

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• A copy of your COVID vaccination card will be required for consideration
