Description
American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in General/Vascular ultrasound with a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARDMS certifications in AB, OB, and RVT.
Details
- Hospital-based diagnostic imaging position performing general, abdominal/OB-GYN, and vascular ultrasound studies
- Full-time schedule of 32–40 hours per week on either 8 or 10-hour day shifts
- Flexibility in scheduling required, including willingness to cover other shifts as needed
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience required
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program required
- Active BLS required
- ARDMS certifications in AB, OB-GYN, and RVT required
- Active state license required if applicable
- Must be able to stand 7–8 hours and walk 6–7 hours per workday
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and handle awkward loads up to 100+ lbs as needed
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform high-quality general, abdominal/OB-GYN, and vascular ultrasound studies in compliance with facility policies and procedures
- Assist radiologists with procedures and competently set up related equipment
- Work with EMR and PACS systems to generate, complete, and transmit exam orders and images
- Perform, record, and analyze QC data to maintain accuracy and precision of diagnostic results
- Responsible for equipment checks, reporting malfunctions, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
- Patient transport is part of this role
- Position requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment
