Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting with a focus on orthopedics, personal injury, and workers' compensation cases, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting with full support staff, including front office personnel and PT Aides/Techs
• Patient caseload averages 12–14 patients per day, approximately 60 patients per week
• Double-booking is standard practice at most locations
• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; no weekend shifts
• Uses RainTree as the EMR system
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics, personal injury, and workers' compensation required
• New graduates will not be considered
• Current PT license required if applicable
• BLS certification required

Additional Information

• Orientation is facilitated by the Clinic Director and begins a few days before the assignment start date
• First day includes staff introductions, EMR orientation to RainTree, shadowing treatments, and seeing a limited number of patients; full caseload begins on day two
• Contract clinicians carry the same patient caseload as permanent staff
• Local candidates are welcome to apply
• All time-off requests should be submitted upfront
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
