Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with experience in cardiac cath and at least one additional modality (IR, vascular, or neuro) for a 13-week travel assignment at a short-term acute care hospital.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 180 staffed beds
• Cardiac Cath Lab unit with additional floating requirements to sister facilities (3 hospitals within 20 miles)
• Procedures span cardiac cath, interventional radiology, vascular, and/or neuro modalities
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call is required on a case-by-case basis with no set schedule; details discussed with the nurse manager
• Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs is required
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Block scheduling is not available

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience in at least two of the following four modalities required: Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro — this must be clearly reflected in work history
• AHA BLS and ACLS required
• RCVT or RCIS certification preferred
• Active state license required if applicable
• Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine (nicotine) is required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be completed promptly upon assignment confirmation
• Ceil blue scrubs required
