Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient ambulatory clinic position, requiring 3 years of experience and active MA licensure.
Responsibilities
- Work in an outpatient ambulatory clinic within a rehabilitation department
- Schedule is 10:30am to 7:00pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 9:00am to 5:30pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
- Position is a 13-week contract
- EPIC is used for charting and documentation
- Main responsibilities include providing evaluation and treatment for patients in an outpatient rehab setting
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines are mandatory with no religious or medical exemptions permitted
- All time-off requests must be submitted at time of consideration
- Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public transportation and paid parking options are available
- Scrub or dress code requirements not specified, but professional attire should be expected
- Local candidates must have a permanent residence at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for standard rates
- Primary source verification of professional license is required
- First-time travelers are not specifically excluded
- References may be required for consideration
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of recent physical therapy experience required
- Active Massachusetts physical therapist license required at time of consideration; no conditional licenses accepted
- American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Proof of COVID-19 and flu vaccination required; no exemptions allowed
- License required if applicable
