Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 2 years of L&D experience and AHA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the LDRPN Unit providing both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care
• Hospital setting with shifts from 06:00 to 18:30
• Assigned to both L&D and postpartum as needed
• Will float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care areas as needed
• COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required for employment at this site
• Dress code and scrub requirements to follow hospital policy
• Candidates should only apply to one position within Ascension system at a time
• Radius rule applies to local candidates, with pay rate adjustments based on distance
• Candidates must provide a copy of their driver's license upon request
• Separate professional references and license verification are required for consideration

Requirements

• Active RN license with current Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NRP certification (AHA/AAP) required
• Recent fetal monitoring training required if not included on competency exam (AWHONN, Relias, or similar within past 2 years)
• MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation training preferred
• U.S. Social Security Number and U.S. home address required
