Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and BLS certification for a daytime hospital assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital radiology department specializing in special procedures
• Schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week assignment with 8-hour day shifts
• No on-call duties required
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Training or previous experience in general vascular, coronary angiography, and special procedures is preferred
• Prior experience in catheterization is preferred
• Compliance process requires 100% credentialing before start; no exceptions allowed
• Permanent address must match driver’s license and licensure
• Returning permanent staff must have a 2-year break before being considered as a traveler
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of application
• A badge photo is required upon offer acceptance
• Candidates may be interviewed as part of the prescreen process

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in special procedures
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• License required if applicable
