Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a night shift contract requiring an active VA or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Room of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Focus on emergency care across a diverse patient population
• Ensure crisis prevention and de-escalation skills are maintained in the ER environment
• Must submit copies of all required certifications with application
• Team-based work environment with expectation to handle high-acuity emergency cases

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience required
• Current certifications from AHA or ARC required, with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment
• CPI or facility-accepted alternative crisis prevention certification required for ER units
• Must provide US Social Security Number and Date of Birth for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
