Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an acute care assignment with experience across ICUs, cardiac, neuro, trauma, and orthopedics.

Responsibilities

Work in an acute care hospital setting
Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturday shifts
Typical assignment includes 9 evaluations per day with an expectation to complete 8
Patient populations include ICU, cardiac, neuro, trauma, and orthopedic cases
Electronic Health Record system used is Cerner
Role involves direct evaluation and treatment of acute care patients
Team-oriented environment with interdisciplinary collaboration across units
COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required as of July 1, 2023
Local candidates are accepted but may receive a reduced compensation rate due to radius rules

Requirements

Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
No minimum years of experience specified
Must possess a valid US Social Security Number
Must provide a US home address (not international)
Copy of driver’s license required
