Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a 13-week assignment in a hospital setting with varying patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting including ICUs, cardiac, neuro, trauma, and orthopedics
• Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays
• Day shift from 08:00 to 16:30
• Typical caseload includes 9 evaluations with an expectation of completing 8 per day
• Cerner EHR is used in the facility
• Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for diverse inpatient cases
• Eligible candidates must not apply to more than one position within the system at a time
• No COVID-19 vaccination required as of July 1, 2023
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate according to the facility radius rule, which varies by state
• Two professional references, copy of license, certifications, and driver’s license required for consideration

Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: ICUs, cardiac, neuro, trauma, or orthopedics
• Must have a valid US Social Security Number
• Must provide a US home address (no international addresses accepted)
