Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a full-time, day-shift rehabilitation assignment on a 13-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Work in an inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation setting
• Shifts are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend and holiday work per department needs
• Serve inpatient, outpatient, and swing bed patients
• No on-call requirements
• Scrubs required with no specific color mandated
• Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of patients across inpatient, outpatient, and swing bed units
• May care for COVID-positive patients
• No specific scrub color required
• Weekend and holiday coverage may be needed based on department requirements
• No on-call duties are expected for this role
• Open to local and travel candidates at the same rate

Requirements

• Current state Physical Therapy license required if applicable
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate, or Certificate degree in Physical Therapy required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in a rehab setting
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
• DCI/BVP certification or completion through qualified resources such as Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or CDC
