Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Rehab Unit night shift role requiring BLS certification and Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an Acute Rehab Unit within a hospital setting
• Works primarily with rehabilitation patients requiring acute or long-term care
• Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
• May float to other units onsite within skill set or to locations within 40 miles if needed
• Uses Epic EMR
• Weekend and holiday shifts are expected
• Floating may be required based on unit needs
• Team-oriented work environment with multidisciplinary support
• All vaccine requirements, including COVID, are subject to current policies and may not be required
• Local candidates are accepted but at a reduced rate based on facility-specific radius rules

Requirements

• Active RN license with Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care or long-term care experience required
• At least 3-4 prior travel assignments as a traveler required
• Med/Surg experience required
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US address
• Nails must be short (less than 1/4 inch) and no artificial or acrylic nails allowed
