Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of inpatient rehab experience for a travel assignment in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an inpatient rehab therapy department
• 24-bed unit with an average caseload of 4 to 5 patients per therapist
• All day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Therapists work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation
• Unit uses typical inpatient rehab gym equipment
• Therapist will perform standard rehab physical therapy procedures with a diverse patient population
• Supportive and experienced team environment with strong interdisciplinary relationships
• Flexible schedule provides a compensatory day off before and after weekend shifts
• Scrub color will be specified according to hospital guidelines
• Newer equipment and a positive, experienced staff are features of this unit

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient rehab experience
• Acute care experience preferred
• Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past year
