Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week inpatient rehab assignment, requiring 1 year of experience and relevant certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in an inpatient acute rehab unit with 15 beds
- Day shift schedule from 08:00 to 16:30
- 13-week contract assignment
- Patient population includes individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive rehabilitation needs
- Required to work one weekend per month
- No on-call responsibilities
- Design and implement individualized care plans for rehabilitation patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
- Educate patients and families on care and rehabilitation strategies
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team within the rehab unit
- Documentation required includes skills checklist and two professional references
- Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced rate due to facility radius rules
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
- All positions are offered via an auto-offer process
Requirements
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient or acute rehab experience
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Relevant certifications must be provided
- US Social Security Number and home address required
- Copy of Driver’s License is required
