Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week inpatient rehab assignment, requiring 1 year of experience and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an inpatient acute rehab unit with 15 beds
• Day shift schedule from 08:00 to 16:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient population includes individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive rehabilitation needs
• Required to work one weekend per month
• No on-call responsibilities
• Design and implement individualized care plans for rehabilitation patients
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
• Educate patients and families on care and rehabilitation strategies
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team within the rehab unit
• Documentation required includes skills checklist and two professional references
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced rate due to facility radius rules
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• All positions are offered via an auto-offer process

Requirements

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient or acute rehab experience
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Relevant certifications must be provided
• US Social Security Number and home address required
• Copy of Driver’s License is required
