Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications and at least one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a busy Labor & Delivery unit with possible floating to Antepartum, OB ED, and Mother/Baby units
• Provides care for Labor & Delivery patients and may assist with related perinatal areas
• Night shift from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• May be required to float between locations within the shared service line as needed
• Responsibilities include caring for laboring patients and supporting the perinatal team
• Travelers may be required to work at multiple facility locations in support of a shared service line
• Assignment requires completion of skills checklist, references, and certification/license documentation for consideration
• COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required
• Holiday coverage is part of regular scheduling
• Local candidates are accepted but are subject to a reduced rate based on radius rule

Requirements

• Active RN license with current Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS (both AHA), and NRP (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
• Must provide two separate professional references
• Copy of driver’s license required
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
