Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a mid-shift Emergency Department position requiring ACLS and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department (ED) of a hospital setting
- Mid-shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
- 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
- 13-week contract assignment
- Provide emergency nursing care for diverse patient populations and urgent medical needs
- All Ascension facilities observe a radius rule; local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate depending on location
- COVID vaccination is not required
- Must submit two separate professional references and a copy of driver’s license for consideration
Requirements
- Active RN license with primary source verification required prior to start
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Certification preferred
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training preferred
- Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
