Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Labor & Delivery night shift position with BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required.

Responsibilities

Work in the Labor & Delivery, Recovery unit of a hospital
Patient population includes mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and immediate recovery
12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7am, three shifts per week
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Cerner EMR experience required
No on-call responsibilities
Roles involve caring for patients in labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum phases
Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break between assignments
All credentialing must be fully completed before start; no exceptions allowed
RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted up front and cannot be requested after offer acceptance
Badge photos are required upon offer acceptance
First-time travelers may be interviewed for additional prescreening

Requirements

Active RN license required
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery
Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and AWHONN required
Cerner EMR experience required
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
