Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Rehabilitation RN with active MA licensure and AHA BLS certification to provide care for medically complex patients in a comprehensive inpatient rehab unit.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 30-bed adult inpatient comprehensive rehab unit with all private rooms
- Patient population includes limb loss, burns, major organ transplants, telemetry, poly trauma, and complex rehabilitation cases
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5, utilizing RN/PCA staffing model
- Five 8-hour shifts per week, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with every other weekend required
- EPIC charting system is used and experience with EPIC is required or preferred
- Provide rehabilitation nursing care for adults recovering from major illnesses or injuries
- Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team in a positive work culture

- Public transportation and public parking available; parking costs may apply
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos system
- All RTO must be requested at the time of consideration
- Local candidates eligible with a permanent residence at least 60 miles from facility
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license is required at the time of consideration
- BLS certification from AHA is required
- No conditional MA licenses accepted
- Primary source license verification required (NURSYS and BON)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required; no medical or religious exemptions accepted
- Must provide two professional references
