Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least 2 years of OR experience and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgery department (Surgery 001) of a hospital setting
• Primary patient population requires perioperative care in various surgical specialties including ortho, spine, general, gyn, uro, and ENT
• Shift is 06:45 to 15:15 with 40 hours per week
• On-call required from end of shift to 07:00 the next morning
• No weekend shifts required
• Holiday coverage required if scheduled shift lands on a holiday
• Operating Room RN experience in ortho, spine, general, gyn, uro, and ENT specialties strongly preferred
• Must adhere to facility's radius rule; local candidates are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
• Holiday coverage is expected when a holiday coincides with scheduled shifts
• COVID vaccination is not required

Requirements

• Active RN license with primary source verification via Nursys within 30 days prior to start
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Must provide US Social Security Number and have a US home address (no international addresses accepted)
• Must provide copy of Driver’s License
• Two references required for consideration
