Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Sonographer with 1-2 years OB/MFM experience and ARDMS certification for an antenatal testing center assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in an antenatal testing center serving both outpatient and inpatient populations
Typical caseload is 10-12 high-risk pregnancy patients per day, including twins, triplets, and anomalies
Scans include nuchal translucency, detailed first and second trimester screenings, and assisting with amniocentesis/CVS procedures following AIUM guidelines
Uses GE E10 and Expert 22 ultrasound machines and GE Viewpoint for documentation
Epic EMR proficiency is required for Rad Tech modules
Monday-Friday day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
No weekends, no holidays, and no floating
Maximum 5-day floor orientation provided
Team of 10-14 sonographers
Frequent scanning of high-risk pregnancies and anomalies
Black scrubs are required
No on-call responsibility
Initial team orientation provided
Epic experience needed for daily workflow
No holiday or weekend coverage required

Requirements

1-2 years of experience in Obstetric/Maternal Fetal Medicine sonography required
Current BLS certification from AHA required
ARDMS certification in Obstetrics is required
Experience performing nuchal translucency scans is essential
NT certification preferred but not required
License required if applicable
