Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT(MRI) certification and BLS for a 12-hour day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital and trauma center within the diagnostic imaging department
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with combinations of 8 and 12-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week
• Every 3rd Saturday weekend rotation required
• Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation
• Patient population includes diverse inpatient and outpatient cases
• Operate magnetic resonance imaging systems, surface coils, and physiologic gating equipment
• Perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Select pulse sequences and operate MRI equipment per protocol
• Prepare and instruct patients for procedures, ensure safety, and administer contrast media as needed
• Provide patient care during procedures and maintain accurate records in PACS and radiology information systems
• Participate in multidisciplinary team activities and support quality patient care initiatives
• Facility may require flexibility with work hours to meet departmental needs
• Facility reserves the right to refuse or terminate assignments for cause

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Experience as an MRI Technologist required
• Current ARRT(R) and ARRT(MRI) certifications required
• Current BLS or equivalent CPR certification required
• License required if applicable
