Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring an active MA RN license and Level 1 trauma experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a hospital Emergency Department
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Assignment is for 13 weeks with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
- Requires working every other weekend and holidays
- Utilizes Epic charting system
- Role involves providing emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
- EPIC charting experience is necessary for this position
- Holiday and every other weekend coverage are required
- First-time travelers are not specified; candidates with required experience are preferred
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
- Parking is not validated and must be arranged by the individual; public transportation and parking lots are available with daily fees
- COVID and Flu vaccinations are mandatory for employment
Requirements
- Active RN license in Massachusetts required at time of consideration; no conditional licenses accepted
- Minimum of 4 years of RN experience required
- At least 1 year of travel and Level 1 trauma experience required
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Proof of COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required; no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Primary source license verification through NURSYS and Board of Nursing required
- Submission of two professional references required
