Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring at least one year of recent ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department (ER) of a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Assignment involves providing acute emergency care in a fast-paced environment
• Team environment with collaborative staff
• No previous 90-day or longer gaps in work history allowed in the last 12 months

Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ER nursing experience
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required; certifications must be through AHA or ARC and valid for at least 30 days post start
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or equivalent certification required for ER assignments
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
