Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology travel assignment requiring a KS or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital medical-surgical oncology setting
Care for oncology patients within the Med/Surg department
12-hour night shifts
Every other weekend required
Float to like units as needed
No call requirements
Primary duties include providing care to oncology patients on the Med/Surg unit
Must be away from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
No call responsibilities
Unit observes every other weekend schedule

Requirements

Active KS or compact RN license required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN in a Med/Surg setting
At least 1 reference from entire work history required
Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
