Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Georgia, requiring 2+ years of OR experience and a valid GA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital surgical unit on the 3rd floor
- Surgical cases include GYN, General, ENT, Ophthalmic, Plastics, and Robotic procedures
- Uses DaVinci Robotics equipment
- Shift is 8-hour days, scheduled 6:45am–3:15pm
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call requirements
- Must work 2 major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, plus 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before applying
- RTO (requested time off) must be declared at the time of application
- Strict credentialing requirements must be completed prior to start
- Scrub color or dress code not specified
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- No local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius
