Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Georgia, requiring 2+ years of OR experience and a valid GA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital surgical unit on the 3rd floor
  • Surgical cases include GYN, General, ENT, Ophthalmic, Plastics, and Robotic procedures
  • Uses DaVinci Robotics equipment
  • Shift is 8-hour days, scheduled 6:45am–3:15pm
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • No on-call requirements
  • Must work 2 major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, plus 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
  • Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before applying
  • RTO (requested time off) must be declared at the time of application
  • Strict credentialing requirements must be completed prior to start
  • Scrub color or dress code not specified

Requirements

  • Active GA or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
  • Current BLS certification required
  • No local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius
