Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / IR Technologist with ARRT(R) certification and experience in cardiac cath, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology setting
• Involvement with cardiac cath, electrophysiology, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and left atrial appendage closure procedures
• Day shift position with 1-2 on-call shifts per week and 1 weekend on-call shift per month
• Includes on-call responsibilities for weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Responsible for preparing patients and equipment using sterile technique and ensuring integrity of sterile supplies
• Monitors and records procedural data, maintaining accurate event logs
• Advocates for and adheres to radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff
• Documents fluoroscopy time and radiation dosages, ensuring compliance with safety standards

Requirements

• Current and active ARRT(R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program
• State licensure must be active if applicable
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
