Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for an evening shift position requiring a compact or MD RN license and current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week contract assignment
- Must supply two professional references and a copy of driver's license for consideration
- Team-oriented environment with coverage every other weekend
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required by the employer
- Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate based on facility radius rules
- Auto-offer process in place for all positions
- Candidates are only permitted to apply to one position within the system at a time
Requirements
- Active MD or compact RN license required
- Nursys verification and current primary source license verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certification preferred
- Must provide a valid US Social Security number and US home address
