Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Vermont requiring recent Med Surg and Rehab experience, charge nurse skills, and a compact or NH license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting with Med Surg and Acute Rehab units
• May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg units
• Patient population includes medical, surgical, and rehabilitation cases
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• Candidates must live in a community without public transport and must commute independently
• May be required to float between Med Surg and Acute Rehab units as needed
• No more than 7 days of requested time off will be considered
• All time off requests must be disclosed at the time of application

Requirements

• Active RN license in Vermont or compact state required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med Surg and Rehab experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience of at least 3 months required
• Charge RN experience required
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• Candidate must have their own vehicle for transportation
• 1 reference required for consideration
