Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position in Illinois, requiring an active IL RN license and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a busy Labor and Delivery unit with antepartum and OB-ED care areas
• Unit is supported by a Level III NICU
• May occasionally float to the Mother Baby unit
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Care for laboring, antepartum, and obstetric emergency patients
• Support provided by a Level III NICU team
• May float to Mother Baby unit as needed
• Team-oriented environment with experienced staff
• Holiday shifts required as part of rotation
• Local candidates will be considered but are subject to a reduced rate based on facility radius rules
• COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active and current IL RN license with Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AHA/AAP required
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver’s license copy required for consideration
• Must provide two professional references
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
