Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of multispecialty experience and strong home health background to join a home health team in Iowa.

Responsibilities

Home health setting serving patients across all age groups
Requires at least one completed travel contract
Position uses Epic EMR; experience with Epic is recommended
Same day interviews available for qualified candidates
Travelers must be available to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
Only one requested day off will be allowed between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
Orientation and onboarding requirements include review of active licensure and certifications
Travelers with prior employment at the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible

Requirements

Active Iowa OT license required if applicable
Minimum 2 years of OT experience across all age groups
BLS certification required
Prior home health experience strongly encouraged
At least one completed travel contract is required
References from a supervisor within the last 2 years required
