Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in WI with night shifts and Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12 hours per shift
36 hours per week schedule
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
Uses Epic EMR system
Weekend and holiday rotation required if scheduled
On-call requirements to be determined
Responsibilities include providing clinical care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
Nursing orientation consists of 16 hours
Required to work two of the three major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
Only one day off may be requested during Thanksgiving and winter holiday date ranges
First-time travelers will not be considered
Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a reduced rate

Requirements

Active WI or compact RN license
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
At least 1 completed travel contract
Active certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA), NRP, and FHM
Epic EMR experience required
BSN strongly encouraged
One supervisory reference from within the last 2 years required
