Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for an acute care hospital position requiring BLS and a current PT license.

Responsibilities

• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings within an acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 shifts)
• Patient ratio is typically 1:6
• Unit supports an attached skilled extended care facility
• No weekend or on-call shifts required
• Floating within the therapist's scope may be required to meet facility needs
• Cerner EMR is used for hospital charting, and PointClickCare (PCC) is used in long-term care
• No restrictions for local candidates and no radius rule
• Responsibilities include providing therapy services to both inpatient and outpatient populations in a Level IV trauma facility
• Free hospital housing available
• Scrub color is flexible; see facility dress code policy
• Parking is free on site
• No RTO allowed within the first two weeks due to orientation; maximum one week of RTO allowed
• Travel pairs are accepted

Requirements

• Current state PT license or compact license required; Montana state license takes 8 weeks to obtain if not already held
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of recent physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Must provide two professional references from the past two years
