Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for night shifts, requiring a PA or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Med/Surg and Med/Surg/Tele units across several hospital floors
Patient population includes general medical-surgical and telemetry cases
Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
13-week travel contract assignment
No local travelers within a 50-mile radius are eligible
Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Team-based environment with support from experienced nursing staff
RTO requests must be less than 1 week
Required to submit a driver’s license for consideration
US Social Security Number required for application
Returning employees must meet all eligibility conditions

Requirements

Active PA or compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in the Med/Surg specialty
No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Must not have been employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years
