Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in New Hampshire, requiring 2+ years of experience and a current NH or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Med/Surg hospital setting
• May float to Thompson Unit or to Kingsbury for custodial patients, which may involve higher patient ratios with lower acuity
• Work schedule requires flexibility; shift accommodation or specific scheduling requests will not be considered
• EPIC EMR experience is required
• Holiday coverage requires working two of the following periods: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's and their respective weekends
• All medical and occupational health compliance must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance
• Holiday coverage requires working two designated periods; requests for assignments ending before holidays are not eligible for extension
• All time off (RTO) requests must be included at time of application; additional RTO after offer will not be approved
• RTO during summer months is extremely limited for travelers
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license must be in hand at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• Experience with EPIC EMR is required
• Must have a personal vehicle
• Permanent address must be provided
