Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with ARRT (R)(M) certification, NYS DOH license, and over two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based mammography department
• Serve female adult patient population with breast imaging needs
• Perform mammography imaging procedures using specialized equipment
• 8 hour shifts scheduled between 7:30 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Saturday
• Perform routine and diagnostic mammography imaging procedures
• Adhere to department protocols and ensure high-quality patient care
• May be required to complete facility-specific training modules prior to assignment start
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
• Returning healthcare professionals may require an eligibility review before assignment

Requirements

• Current ARRT (R)(M) certification required
• NYS DOH license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA only accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent mammography experience
• Two professional references from the prior year in mammography or radiology
