Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active OH or compact license, night shift availability, and recent L&D experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment duration
• May be required to float to other units as needed
• Uses Epic EMR system and experience with Epic is required
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Must promptly complete Ohio fingerprinting process after signing contract
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application
• Former employees eligible if separated from the facility for at least 6 months
• Current employees of Ohio State University hospitals are ineligible for this travel position
• Structured orientation and support provided for travelers
• First time travelers will be considered
• References from coworkers will not be accepted

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• NCC C-EFM certification accepted in lieu of AWHONN Advanced
• Proficiency in IV start and core Labor & Delivery nursing skills required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required, at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
