Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience for a day shift Home Health PT assignment.

Responsibilities

Home health setting with a focus on geriatric patients
Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the office, flexibility required
Average caseload is 5-7 patients per day
Uses HCHB EMR system and Oasis documentation, experience in both is required
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 17:00
On-call required every 3rd to 4th weekend
iPad provided for documentation
Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
Main duties include evaluating and treating geriatric patients in their homes
Position requires flexibility with patient territory assignments
Scrubs of any color are required; jeans are not permitted
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Mileage reimbursement provided for work travel within the assigned territory
Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent home health PT experience required
Current BLS certification required
Experience with Oasis and HCHB EMR required
Valid PT license required if applicable
Ability to manage timely documentation and effective communication
