Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position in California requiring a current CA RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel contract
• Provides care to laboring and postpartum patients in a busy L&D unit
• Responsible for providing care to patients throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum phases
• Expected to participate in all aspects of patient care in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment
• Documentation must be completed as required per hospital policy
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Holiday coverage may be required during contract period

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
• Two years of experience preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with a valid SSN and DOB
