Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a SC or compact RN license and AHA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a rural hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Responsible for assessing and planning individualized care based on patient needs and diagnostic data
• Expected to provide nursing interventions aligned with the plan of care and physician directives
• Required to perform hourly patient rounds and uphold service excellence standards
• May serve as charge nurse or preceptor as assigned
• Must use appropriate health and safety equipment and adhere to care standards for devices such as central lines, catheters, and ventilators

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Nursys and primary source license verification needed within 30 days of start
