Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced Emergency Room RN with two or more years of recent large hospital ER experience and required certifications for a 13-week night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a 23-bed Emergency Department in a large hospital setting
• Provides care to a diverse emergency patient population
• 36/48 hour weekly rotation with night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Bi-weekly orientation provided unless otherwise noted
• No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Reliable transportation is required due to limited ride share options in the area
• Responsible for assessing, triaging, and providing care to emergency patients in a fast-paced environment
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly unless otherwise noted
• Travel pairs are not allowed unless there are multiple needs on the unit
• First time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of current emergency room experience in a large hospital
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), NIH Stroke Scale, TNCC, PALS, CPI
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to provide two professional references
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
